🍑New Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing - MVK FarmCo🍑
Agriculture is obviously the industry to be in if you’re a restructuring professional.
We had Kalera Inc. file a chapter 11 bankruptcy case back in April, which we covered here:
Then there was AeroFarms Inc., which filed back in June, covered here:
And then there was Do Good Foods LLC, which filed in mid-June, covered here:
And then we had AppHarvest Inc. ($APPHQ) file in July, which we covered here (and many times thereafter, the sh*t show that it was):
And in the future, we might even get a Local Bounti Corp. ($LOCL) filing. We initiated coverage on that company here and eagerly await its next earnings report:
So, following the same sh*t paved path of its predecessors, MVK FarmCo LLC (d/b/a Prima) and eight affiliates (the “debtors”) filed for chapter 11 in the District of Delaware (Judge Silverstein) on October 13, 2023.
