💥New Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing - My Job Matcher, Inc.💥
AI-driven recruiting platform files chapter 11 cases in the District of Delaware
On July 6, 2025, My Job Matcher, Inc. and seven affiliates (collectively, the “debtors”) filed chapter 11 sale cases in the District of Delaware (Judge Owens). The debtors operate the Job.com platform, a “...cutting-edge, AI-driven recruitment platform that redefines efficiency in recruiting, hiring, and placement.” The platform apparently takes care of time-consuming activities like … getting to know the people you could end up working with. Here’s CEO and first-day declarant Robert Corliss (of CorlissMoore & Associates (“CorlissMoore”)):
“One of the central products offered through Job.com is the autonomous interviews and qualification engine. This revolutionary solution allows clients to simultaneously interview thousands of candidates through virtual, AI- conducted interviews and provides hiring managers with immediate, AI-analyzed candidate summaries.”
Holy hell. AI isn’t just taking our jobs, it’s also hiring us for those that remain?! “This is a little bit scary, I think” said debtors’ counsel Morris James LLP’s Jeffrey Waxman at the July 8, 2025 first day hearing. Ya think?!?*
