Minimum Wage Increases = Bankruptcy

Or so they say. Apparently minimum wage hikes are causing restaurants to close in New York City. It is currently $11/hour (and will rise to $13/hour in December). This appears to be consistent with what restructuring professionals have seen out of restaurants in other states or maybe its just executive teams tactlessly expressing a political agenda...?
