Spandex co. falls comfortably into chapter 11 with a prepackaged deal
On March 17, 2026, Wilmington, DE-based The LYCRA Company LLC and twenty-five affiliates (collectively, the "debtors" and together with their non-debtor affiliates, the “company”) filed prepackaged chapter 11 cases in the Southern District of Texas (Judge Lopez). Surely y’all know the material.

Johnny feels more relaxed already. Though, the company doesn’t make end-products directly. Per Mr. Williams, the company “… innovates fiber technology solutions and produces fibers that it sells to mills, which incorporate the fibers into fabrics,” which are “… then supplied to garment manufacturers, which produce finished garments for apparel brands.” In ‘25, the company’s innovation and production led to revenue of ~$724mm.
