💥New Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing - Alachua Government Services Inc.💥
Here comes another National Resilience Inc.-related bankruptcy.
No time like the present to tackle the next National Resilience, Inc. (“NR”)-sh*tco bankruptcy. Back on July 6, 2025, Alachua Government Services, Inc. (the “debtor”) — sisterco to Bedmar, LLC (“Bedmar”) — filed a chapter 11 bankruptcy case all its own in the District of Delaware (also Judge Stickles).
At least this debtor existed prior to June ‘25.
Anyway, in ‘20, the US government awarded the debtor a contract “… to develop an advanced monoclonal antibody therapy against COVID-19,” and given the overlap between that and NR’s business — which we won’t rehash, it’s covered in Bedmar’s briefing ☝️— NR acquired the debtor in April ‘21. Not that they were ever integrated. Per CRO and first day declarant Janet Naifeh of FTI Consulting, Inc. ($FTI), the debtor “… operated largely autonomously in light of its status as a United States government contractor.”
Sure, whatever. Autonomous it may have been, but like its brethren, the debtor failed all the same, this time apparently driven by waning government demand for its services. And while it tried to branch out into non-government work, “… industry demand never materialized.”
